After the cracking success of our sell out charity show last December, Brighton’s most Christmassy of choirs returns to the Dome Concert Hall on Saturday 15th December 2012 to set the spirits soaring with our latest festive extravaganza.
Embracing the Christmas notions of giving and sharing, Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus (a registered charity in its own right) proudly announce that we will again be working with the Sussex Beacon Urgent Appeal to help them raise the £150,000 needed annually to keep their Inpatient Unit open. This association effectively means that every ticket purchased for Pull A Cracker will not only provide priceless entertainment but will also help two fantastic causes!
So don’t let yourself get Scrooged, ring in the Yuletide with the one and only Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus. Seasonal satisfaction guaranteed! Tickets are on sale right now from the Dome Box Office and are priced at £18, £15, £10 (£16, £13, £8 concs).
Press Reviews for Pull A Cracker 2011
“Pull A Cracker with the Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus promised a night of Christmas favourites and pop and rock classics to get you in the festive mood, and they certainly did not disappoint!… It was a magical evening and, judging by the rapturous applause and standing ovation at the end, that was a feeling shared by everyone there. Just brilliant!” Latest 7 magazine, Dec 2011
“A combination of factors made the Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus show special: the joyful smiles of the performers, who were clearly having the time of their lives; the varied arrangements bringing out different rhythms in their songs; and the response of the audience, who packed out the Dome and came ready to laugh, applaud, wolf-whistle and raise the roof when invited to sing along.” Evening Argus, Dec 2011
