Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus packed out The Brighton Dome with our pre-Christmas concert ‘Pull A Cracker’ last December. The majestic voices of the Chorus, together with host Zoe Lyons, with guests Lorraine Bowen, Jodie Spencer and, of course, special guest star June Brown, joined together to create a spectacular and joyous evening.

We are pleased to be able to announce that the final total raised for The Sussex Beacon was an incredible £5,143.66.

Chris Cooke, Head of Finance and Fundraising at The Sussex Beacon said:

“We are so grateful to the Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus and to all the fantastic artists and additional volunteers who gave their time and talent to raise this incredible sum which will go towards our Beacon Appeal. This was a truly memorable evening and we feel very privileged to have such invaluable community support – our thanks go out to all those people who made this evening possible!”

The next chance to see Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus will be on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th May at 7.30pm for our Brighton Fringe Festival show entitled Guilty Treasures in St Nicholas’ Church, Dyke Road, Brighton. Come join us in our search for the ultimate gay song!

Tipped as one of the “Highlights of the Fringe 2012” by whatsonstage.com, the Guilty Treasures show is being arranged in association with Brighton and Hove LGBT Switchboard and The Abandoned and Destitute Children’s Appeal Fund. Tickets cost £12 (£10 conc) and are on sale now via the Brighton Fringe Festival website: http://boxoffice.brightonfringe.org
